Haranahalli Ramaswamy Institute of Higher Education was established in the year 2007, under the auspices of Malnad Technical Education society, Hassan.

Department of MBA was established in the year 2007. The Program is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Mysore / Hasssn University.

It has emerged as a professional educational institution with difference and striding towards excellence. A promising institution of the region – providing value added, quality Professional education in commerce and management streams.

MBA is a two years’ full time post graduate programme with four semesters. The program curriculum is designed to provide graduates with life skills and competencies that would effectively transforming them into a dynamic managerial professional.

Our competent faculty members from inter-disciplinary streams motivate the young graduates in creation of successful mangers and remarkable entrepreneurs in transforming the dreams of prospective managerial minds into a phenomenal reality.

The program moulds the overall personality of graduates enabling them to adapt to the evolving trends of the business eco system. The Department currently has an intake of 120 students and offers three major specializations namely – Financial Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.

A typical day for the students starts with regular classes, Case Study analysis, management events, invited talks, mentoring, online courses and Internships, group discussions, field works, and other group activities.

To make our students employable and improve their employability skills, we are conducting several Training programs. We are providing Pre Placement Training programs, advance Excel training, Power BI, Sales Force ERP training, Communication Training, Leadership Training, Outbound training, Personality Development Programs, Webinars and many more such programs on regular basis. These activities equips the students with industry specific qualities and competencies.

For the overall development of our students, we are organizing Personality Development programs, which covers Ethics, Moral, Self Discipline, Social responsibility and other topics
We have also organized several curricular and co curricular activities like Commerce Conclave – 2024, Webinars, Career guidance, Industrial Visits, Cultural Program, Ethnic day, Sports day.

To facilitate our students in pursue their internships, getting industry exposure, we have created Industry Academia Cell and made agreements with well known Training and Corporate Organizations for providing Professional and Employability Skill enhancement courses to our students.
Namely – Infosys Springboard, Excelr, ICT Academy, Rubicon, Forum of Free Enterprises, ArthNirmiti, Disha Bharath.

Since its Inception, our students have been securing ranks, gold medals, cash prizes at the university level every year. And also won several prizes in state level and national level commerce and management competitions. Over the years HRIHE has become a centre of excellence in the field of higher education providing the globally competitive opportunity for the ambitious students.

We have registered maximum placement. Our students are working in well known companies across India and abroad.
